The West Midlands Police Museum

The West Midlands Police Museum is situated in the centre of the city of Birmingham.

The museum has over 4000 historic police exhibits to discover ranging from police uniforms and equipment to original historic ‘Mug Shots’ and even some old police motorcycles.

The museum was a fully functional police station first built in Victorian times in1891, the station eventually closed in 2016.

Some infamous prisoners who have been locked up in this police station in the past include the ‘Peaky Blinders’.

The West Midlands Police Museum is a unique museum and an interesting and educational day out for all.
