The People’s History Museum

An old hydraulic pumping station in Spinningfields, Manchester is the home of the People’s History Museum.

The museum has one of the most extensive collections of political material in the United Kingdom, dating back to the early nineteenth century.

Items in the collection include election campaign posters, political satire cartoons and a vast array of trade union badges and banners.
