Swansea Museum

Swansea Museum is a museum located in Swansea, Wales and is housed in the Victorian Guildhall.

Swansea Museum has a diverse collection of artefact’s and specimens that cover a wide range of topics. Some of the key collections include:

• The Copper Kingdom collection, which explores the history of the copper industry in Swansea and the impact it had on the local community.
• The Maritime collection, which covers the history of the port of Swansea and the ships that have sailed from it, including information about the maritime trade, shipbuilding, and seafaring life.
• The Natural History collection, which includes a variety of specimens from the local area, including birds, mammals, fish, and invertebrates.
• The Art collection, which includes works by local artists and art that reflects the history and culture of Swansea.
• The History of Swansea collection, which covers the history of the city from pre-history to the present day, including information about the Roman and Medieval periods, the Industrial Revolution, and the 20th century.
