Built in 1894, the Queen Street Textile Mill, a Grade one listed building is a treat for anyone wanting to go back to the Victorian era and the thriving textile industry. The mill was steam powered where 1 magnificent steam engine managed to power some 300 looms.
Queen Street Mill Textile Museum is located in Burnley, Lancashire and has starred in quite a few TV and film productions the most famous possibly being the film ‘The Kings Speech’ and hit tv series ‘Life on mars’.
With a 120ft chimney and lodge beside the mill you cant miss it as it dominates the Harle Syke skyline.
