The Pitt Rivers Museum is situated in Oxford, Oxfordshire. This sensational museum is truly worth a visit particularly for lovers of Ethnography and archaeology, Photographs, sound and film .
This brilliant Museum has over over half a million objects on display in its impressive collection.

Some highlights on display at the Museum include, a Stone Axe from the Wahgi valley in Papua New Guinea, dating to the 1930s, a Gold Torc which dates back to the Middle Bronze Age (1400 to 1100BC), a Caricature mask from Mexico and not forgetting some beautifully carved Libation sticks which were made by the Ainu people, from Russia and Japan.
