Glasgow Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral Church of Saint Kentigern or St. Mungo’s Cathedral, is a medieval Scottish Presbyterian church located in the city of Glasgow, Scotland.
It is the oldest cathedral in mainland Scotland and one of the best examples of medieval architecture in Scotland.
The cathedral has a rich history, dating back to the 6th century and is dedicated to Saint Mungo, the patron saint of Glasgow.
The cathedral is known for its impressive architectural features, including its ornate nave and the unique “Glasgow Cathedral Cloisters” which are considered one of the best preserved medieval cloisters in Scotland.
