The aptly named Riverside Museum in Glasgow is situated on the junction of the River Clyde and the River Kelvin.
The museum is relatively new, opening in 2011. Its collections revolve around Glasgow’s historic and current industries such as Ship-building, Engineering, technology and Train manufacturing.
Some of the 3000 items on display include Locomotives’ Trams and Buses, an interactive fire engine, lots of vehicles of all types and ages.
There are also a large amount of touch screen displays telling the tales behind the items on show.
