Walker Art Gallery

The Walker art Gallery is located in Liverpool city centre in the borough of Islington and only a short walk from Liverpool Lime Street train station.

It is a thoroughly impressive art gallery and has some excellent displays and exhibitions to view and explore with some dating back to the 13th century.

There are 3 excellent collections at the Walker Art gallery, these being paintings, Sculpture and Decorative Art.

The ‘Paintings’ collection displays pieces from famous artists such as Rembrandt, Monet and Rubens.

No visit to the gallery is complete without a visit to the café and a serving of traditional ‘Scouse’ complete with pickled red cabbage and a bread roll – delicious!
