The Pankhurst Centre

The Pankhurst Centre is a museum dedicated to the life of Emmeline Pankhurst and her family.
Emmeline Pankhurst is famous for being the founder of the UK suffragette group who fought passionately for women’s rights and in particular the right for women to have a vote.
The museum is actually 2 Victorian houses of which one of them was Emmeline Pankhurst’s home.
When you visit the Pankhurst Centre you will be learn the history behind the whole suffragette movement and the key role that Emmeline Pankhurst played from her home in Manchester.
